This was the kind of day I came on this trip for!
I went out to Boynton Canyon, one of the four vortexes in Sedona, at the suggestion of the woman and the visitor's center. She said it was least likely to be crowded. It was somewhere around 100 degrees so I didn't go far. Most of the dirt was red like the rocks, but there was one small section of the trail where the dirt was more like it is in CT.
And only in Sedona...the Golden Arches are actually turquoise!
